Bespoke Commissions

Alma Sophia Selecting Gems in the Studio - Crafting a New Bespoke Piece

A commission can be anything from customising a piece in my current collection (both silver and gold), remodelling a family heirloom, or designing something completely new.

I view it as a collaboration of ideas: you can be as involved as you want in the design process. First we arrange a meeting to chat through your ideas for the piece, where all options and budget expectations are discussed, and we develop a clear plan for the design. There are no silly questions, so if you have any queries or initial ideas, I would love to hear from you!

HOW IT WORKS

STEP 1. Book a meeting with me!

Embarking on a bespoke jewellery journey is a collaborative and exciting process. I'm here to guide you every step of the way, ensuring your unique piece reflects your style and sentiments. Book a meeting today and let's begin crafting your dream piece together.

How to get started:

1. Fill out the ‘Book a meeting’ form: Share as much or as little as you want.

2. Your preferred communication: Let me know if you’d prefer connecting over email, a phone call, a Zoom meeting, or even an in-person visit to my studio in Bloomsbury, London.

3. Discuss your ideas: Once I receive your form, I'll reach out to you. We can discuss your ideas, preferences, and any questions. This initial consultation is all about understanding your vision and making you feel at ease.

STEP 2. Showing you design ideas
and sourcing gemstones
(if applicable)

After our first consultation meeting I will digitally draw up some initial ideas to present to you.

I have a beautiful selection of gemstones for you to choose from and I can also source other gems in specific colours, sizes and cuts for you to look at.

I also have extensive experience in repurposing jewellery and you are welcome to provide your own gemstones and/ or gold. During the initial consultation we can discuss how to incorporate this into the design. You might like to read more about this in Anniken’s redesign story below.

Step 3. Crafting your piece

Once you are happy with the design and have chosen any gems I will start making your piece.

A bespoke piece usually takes 4-6 weeks. If your piece is for a specific occasion and time is tight, I will do my best to accommodate.
